Delete your account
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app:
- Open Hum - rituals and sign in.
- Tap the “you” tab at the bottom.
- Scroll to the bottom of your profile.
- Tap the red “delete account” button.
- Enter your password to confirm identity.
- Tap “delete my account” and confirm in the alert.
This permanently removes your sign-in credentials, profile, and all shared couple data—including mood entries, habits, check-in history, decisions, awards nominations, and reasons. Your partner is automatically unlinked.

FAQ
How do I link with my partner?
One of you creates an account and finds the invite code in the app. The other signs up (or signs in) and enters that code on the link screen. After linking, you share the same couple space.
How does mood check-in work?
Tap the mood tab, choose an emoji that fits your current vibe from the picker, and save. You can check in multiple times a day—your partner sees your latest mood in real time and vice versa. When you both log the same mood, you’ll see an “in sync” moment.
How do habits work?
Create daily or weekly habits from the habits tab. Shared habits track both partners’ completion; personal habits are just for you. The six-week heatmap shows your shared-habit progress over time. When both of you complete all shared habits for the day, you’ll see a celebration animation.
What are streaks?
A joint streak counts consecutive days where both partners completed all shared daily habits. Your current streak shows as a fire badge in the habits action bar.
How does Decide work?
Decide is a calm utility for landing on a choice together. You and your partner add ideas to a shared pool by category (e.g. restaurants, weekend plans). Then you can either vote together—both of you compare pairs of options round by round until one remains—or tap pick for us, which suggests one option from the pool you yourselves curated. There are no mechanics of chance, no wagers, no spinning wheels, and no points or prizes. It is simply a way to make small everyday decisions easier when you can’t agree.
How do Awards work?
Awards is a private, twice-a-year ritual just for the two of you. You both nominate little stories or inside jokes across categories (e.g. “best meal we cooked”). When the season closes, you each privately pick a winner per category, the app surfaces any overlaps, and you cheer the winners together. Past seasons stay in your private vault. There are no public leaderboards.
How does Reasons work?
Reasons is a quiet space for gratitude. You write a short line about why you love your partner. When the moment’s right, you can reveal up to three random lines they’ve written about you. Reasons stay private between the two of you and are never shared anywhere else.
What does the green dot on the home screen mean?
It shows whether your partner was recently active in the app. A bright, breathing green dot means they’re here right now; a steady green means they were here recently; a gray dot means earlier today. It disappears after six hours of inactivity.
Why does the background glow change?
The ambient glow warms as you and your partner build streaks together—logging moods, completing habits, and writing reasons. It’s a subtle visual reward for showing up consistently.
I forgot my password.
Use the password reset flow from the sign-in screen (Firebase Auth). If email does not arrive, check spam and that you typed the correct email.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Open the app → bottom tab “you” → scroll to the bottom → tap the red “delete account” button → enter your password → confirm. The app removes your sign-in, profile, and all shared couple data (mood entries, habits, check-in history, decisions, awards, reasons). Your partner is automatically unlinked. Some data may remain in encrypted backups briefly. You can also email support@aaam.dev to request deletion.
Is there a public feed or social graph?
No. The app is for two linked people only; there is no discovery or public timeline.
Where is my data stored?
On Google Firebase (Authentication + Firestore + Cloud Functions). See the privacy policy for details.
